Studying and Top-Level Sport

Student elite athletes may apply for certain adjustments during their studies. These adjustments could take the form of, for example, extensions to deadlines or the postponement of examinations to the resit date. Elite athlete adjustments are only awarded to students in possession of a Swiss Olympic Card. Adjustments that would affect the content, scope and learning objectives of the study programme are not possible. If you are a top athlete and would like to apply for adjustments, please contact the Office of Student Affairs at the Faculty of Science (MNF) as early as possible.

Because it is not easy to combine top-level sport with university, we also recommend that you contact your student advisor at the beginning of your course to discuss how best to plan your studies.
