Appeals

Appeals against transcripts of records/examinations can be submitted as soon as they have been officially issued. The legally valid document for this is the transcript of records, which you receive twice a year in the student portal. You will find information on legal remedies on the last page of the transcript of records. It states that objections must be submitted in writing to the Office of Student Affairs  within 30 days of receiving the document.
If the appeal is rejected, you have another 30 days to submit an appeal to the Appeals Commission of the Zurich Universities . There you will also find information on where exactly and how to submit an appeal. This page is in German only. Further instances are the Administrative Court and the Federal Supreme Court.
