Ehrungen und Auszeichnungen 2013

Norman Backhaus, Titularprofessor für Humangeographie, wurde auf den 1. Januar 2013 von der SCNAT zum Präsidenten der Forschungskommission des Schweizerischen Nationalparks ernannt.

Bernd Bodenmiller, Assistenzprofessor für Quantitative Biologie, erhielt für das Projekt „Three Dimensional Single Cell Analysis of the Cancer Stem Cell inducing Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition Signaling Networks in Breast Cancer by Mass Cytometry“ einen ERC Starting Grant.

Alberto Cattaneo, ordentlicher Professor für Mathematik, wurde als ausländisches Mitglied in das neu gegründete Komitee „Italian National Scientific Qualification for Mathematical Physics“ gewählt.

Camillo De Lellis, ordentlicher Professor für Reine Mathematik, hat den Fermat Prize 2013 erhalten.

Raimund Dutzler, ordentlicher Professor für Biochemie, erhielt für sein Forschungsprojekt „Structure function and pharmacology of calcium-activated chloride channels: Anoctamines and Bestrophins“ einen ERC Advanced Grant.

Martin Jinek, Assistenzprofessor für Biochemie, erhielt für das Projekt „Structural and Mechanistic Studies of RNA-guided and RNA-targeting Antiviral Defense Mechanisms“ einen ERC Starting Grant.

Arpat Ozgul, Assistenzprofessor für Populationsökologie, erhielt für das Projekt „Demographic and Phenotypic Signals of Population Responses to Environmental Change“ einen ERC Starting Grant.

Michael Schaepman, ordentlicher Professor für Geographie, Fernerkundung, wurde in das Komitee der „ESA’s Earth Science Advisory Committee (ESAC)“ gewählt.
