Cell fireworks
Intracellular bacteria infecting Chlamydia infecting cells. Chlamydia forms inclusions inside of the cells. These inclusions are circular and exhibit various colors due to their different fluorescent signals: magenta and green. Each of the colours represent a different strain of Chlamydia and we can observe how sometimes they can form a joint inclusion forming cell fireworks.by Magdalena de Arriba
